Elaine is a very versatile artist who enjoys painting in a variety of media, with an abiding love for oil. Her inspiration comes from a diverse range of subjects and themes; from reflections caught on water; the light hitting the canopy of a café scene, to a quiet corner of a harbour. More recently developing her skills in life drawing and portraits.
One of Elaine’s greatest achievements was to have two paintings accepted and exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists at the Mall Galleries, London.
Elaine has been sharing her passion for drawing and painting for the last 15 years by holding weekly classes and workshops at her lovely studio just outside Brackley, Northamptonshire.
